"My Interest in cars began at Historic racing events when I was still in a baby seat. Even as a 5 year old, my bedroom walls were adorned with images of vintage Bentleys and ERA's. The Pre-War years have always held a strong fascination for me. Perhaps it was simply due to being surrounded by such machines thanks to my father and Grandfather who was an Engineer at the Royal Aircraft Establishment, Farnborough and keen Brooklands competitor in period. However, I like to believe that there is a true pleasure in discovering, working on and of course driving the machines from the pioneering Pre-War years. Whilst my Grandfather was interested in Vintage Bentley's and Bugatti's, my father has owned and restored Triple-M MG's since the mid 1960's. So, I have developed a particular interest in these cars. The MG car company during the 1930's achieved so many incredible feats from winning the 1933 Mille-Miglia, to producing a tiny 750cc engine capable of 146bhp in 1934, to one of the worlds first all independently sprung racing cars. This of course is all down to these (for their time) incredibly advanced cars."
